Six things. That's it.

Happy Sunday, dropplets!

The mortgage industry has a complexity addiction.

New CRM. New funnel. New strategy. New coach. New app. New system.

And somehow, despite all of it? Most loan officers still feel behind.

Here's what I've noticed after years of coaching loan officers at all production levels (2 units - 30 units).

Effective loan officers aren't doing anything more. They're simply doing the right things again, and again, and again. Every single day, even when it's boring and their brain wants something new. (Shiny new object syndrome..anyone?)

That's my whole thesis.

I believe it so much that I built an app called around it, which I call Lantrn (Pronounced Lantern). Not because the industry needed another shiny new object, but because it needed a simpler answer to a simple question: how do you actually win your day?

Turns out, it's six things.

1. Get focused before you get distracted. Before email. Before social. Before Slack. You get a short morning audio from me, Growth Notes, a mindset hit to start with intention instead of reaction.

2. One daily lesson. Something that makes you think. Growth. Mindset. What it actually takes to build. Not empty motivation. Simply a different perspective.

3. Your three critical tasks. Not your task list. Not your CRM queue. Three things…the three highest-impact moves you can make today to push your business forward. That's it.

4. One video. Something that feeds your brain a different way of seeing things. Because the way you think determines how you approach your day.

5. End-of-day score. You rate yourself in three areas - mindset, tasks, and wellness. The scale is simple: 1 = No. 2 = Meh. 3 = Relentless. No hiding.

6. Reflect and reset. How did today go? What do you do better tomorrow? Two minutes. Done.

That's the whole system. Six things. Under 60 minutes every day.

No complexity.
No noise.

Just the fundamentals that actually move your biz forward, while most people are scrolling Instagram.

Is winning your day worth 60 minutes? Only YOU can answer that.
